The Ghost in the Garden

The wind whispered through the dark branches, murmuring a secret Jacob couldn’t quite catch.

Jacob Langdell has been banished to Idaho. In 1918, everyone in California is busy helping with the Great War, and an influenza pandemic is sweeping through America. Jacob’s parents decide he’ll be safer with his dad’s aunts in a tiny town in Idaho. Living with his strange great aunts in their run-down mansion is hard enough, but Jacob begins to think the house is haunted. He sees the ghostly image of a boy in the windows, and a voice calls him from the garden. It’s up to Jacob to uncover long-buried secrets that could bring his family back together or tear it apart forever.
